Davido Reacts After Nigerian Artists Didn’t Celebrate His FIFA World Cup Achievements

Nigerian singer, Davido has reacted after his colleagues refused to celebrate or congratulate him.

If you do not recall, Davido made history as the first Afrobeats artist to feature on the FIFA World Cup official soundtrack. He also performed the theme song at the Final Draw Ceremony in Doha, Qatar.

Friends, Family, and Fans took to their various social media accounts to shower praises on Davido as well as thank him for doing what the Super Eagles were unable to do. Though Davido warned his fanbase, 30BG not to drag other fanbases, 30BG are still pushing hard after many noticed that only one Nigerian artist reposted Davido’s achievement on their page.

For those following Timi Dakolo, You would see how he gushed over Davido’s win, while others failed to celebrate him. Fans on Twitter are dragging Nigerian artists for refusing to celebrate Davido the same way they would have celebrated Burna Boy and Wizkid.
They informed them that it is unfair to hate on Davido because of his father’s wealth and to disregard his achievements. Reacting to the news, Davido took to his Twitter account to share how he feels about his colleagues not celebrating him.

According to OBO, it is him against the music industry and he is all down for it. He implied that he is not surprised or bothered by their actions, or all the negativity surrounding his win, but he is loving it.
